  1. okay, i feel like i just found a cheat code in my own OS. on teh desktop, right-click > New > Folder, and name it exactly this:

    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    The icon instantly turns into a Control Panel icon and when u open it u get a giant categorized list of basically every classic Control Panel task: power options, device manager, credential manaegr, fonts, user accounts, all searchable. The part before the dot can be anything you like, its the GUID that does the magic. Apparently this has worked since Vista. How did i never see this? thx in advance!!

  5. nothing risky about it :) it doesnt grant extra permissions, it only links to tasks you could already open. anything that needs admin rights still shows teh UAC prompt. hope that helps :)

  6. been there man fun detail: you can name it Settings.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} or anything else before the dot. the GUID is the real identifier for the All Tasks shell folder.

  9. note that on Windows 11 more and more items open teh modern Settings app instead of the old Control Panel page, so some links in God Mode now just bounce you to Settings 🤦 still handy as an index. hope that helps :)
