    i built a little petting zoo in my Minecraft world and needed a centerpiece. Enter teh jeb_ sheep: name tag a sheep 'jeb_' and it cycles through the rainbow forever.

    its a developer-name easter egg, similar to naming a mob Dinnerbone to flip it upside down. small warnings from experience: teh wool you shear is the base color, and if teh name tag isnt exactly jeb_ with the underscore it wont work. ten out of ten centerpiece though.

    ok so put a lead on it and a fence around it, because youll be heartbroken if it wanders off or gets eaten by smth.

    hmmm combining jeb_ with upside-down isnt possible since a mob can only have one name, sadly.

    oh ive been there lol if ure on a server with plugins, some servers disable or override name effects, sooo test in single-player first.

    ok so if u dye the jeb_ sheep, teh visual still rainbows, but teh dye changes what color wool you get when shearing.

    ehh respectful caveat: it doesnt give you rainbow wool, sooo if youre hoping to farm every color from one sheep, regular dyed sheep are the way.

    @hanad847 Summary for future searchers: anvil, name tag jeb_, use on sheep, enjoy the disco. Shearing gives teh base color.
