til kobo has a hidden web browser in its beta features lol

hmmm is teh browser any good??

sorry forgot to say its basic and slow, but it works for simple pages. sorry for the wall of text lol

hmmm if you can't find Beta features, update your firmware and check again. fingers crossed 🤞

long time lurker first post lol my lapotp is officially haunted

been there man this. so much this worked for me anyway 🤷

lol same thing happened to me try turning off teh DNS first, fixed it for me lmk how it goes

have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)

lol same thing happened to me the browser is very basic. simple text-heavy websiets work best on e-ink. worked for me anyway 🤷

Kobo also has a Reading stats feature thats easy to miss, which shows your reaidng time. lmk how it goes

ok so same issue here on my mac. following this thread fingers crossed 🤞

nah tbh idk man that sounds like bad advice tbh

respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made hidden-features worse just my 2 cents

oh ive been there lol WAIT WHAT, a web browser on my e-reader? Not great, but Im still impressed. fingers crossed 🤞

oh ive been there lol for longer articles, a read-later integration (where your model supports one) is usually nicer than the browser.

🤔

been there man beta features can chnage between firmware updates, so if smth disappears, thats probably why.

hmmmm not sure about that small caveat: beta features are experimental, so don't rely on them. but hey ymmv

my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure
