How To Find The Windows Startup Folder In Two Seconds

  1. i wanted to make a script run at login and every guide gave me a long path through AppData. Then someone said: press Win+R, type shell:startup, Enter. boom, the Startup folder for my user opened xD drop a shortcut there and it runs at login.

turns out there are tons of these shell: names. shell:sendto opens the Send To folder, shell:AppsFolder shows all installed apps including Store apps, shell:downloads goes to Downloads. Why isnt this in any official tutorial?? thx in advance!!

  13. yeahhh careful with shell:common startup: it affects every user on teh PC and needs admin rights to cahnge... use plain shell:startup for your own account.
