oh ive been there lol careful while theyre visible: dont delete things like .DS_Store or folders in ur home Library unless you know what they do. hide them again when youre done.

  1. Today I learned macOS has a built-in toggle for hidden files. In Finder or any Open/Save dialog, press Cmd+Shift+peroid. Dotfiles and hidden folders show up semi-transparent so you know they're normally hidden.

I've been opening Terminal and running ls -la to find stuff for years. Also found that Cmd+Shift+G lets you type any path like ~/Library directly. Any other Finder shortcuts Im missing?
