Accepted solution by Nina — ok so "Do a barrel roll" is a reference to a line from the game Star Fox 64 🔥 the game came out in 1997. good luck man!
  1. ok so my coworker told me to type "do a barrel roll" into Google search. I did, and the whole results page rotated 360 degrees :D Then I tried "askew" and teh page tilted slightly to the side.

my favorite, though, is searching "recursion". google shows "Did you mean: recursion", linking back to the same search, forever :) that's a joke only programmers will appreciate. these have been around for years. which other Google easter eggs still work? any ideas??

  4. the anagram search suggesting "nag a ram" is another long-running one, since "nag a ram" is an anagram of anagram.

  5. google Gravity was a Chrome Experiment made by a third party, not part of Google search. searching for it just gives you links to copies.
