If you call a support person, give them this info:
    Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

it goes to the blue screen, collects info, restarts, and after a few attempts lands in Automatic Repair, which cant repair anyhting... i didnt touch any BIOS settings. my files are on that drive and i really dont wanna reinstall Windows. is there a way to undo a storage driver from outside Windows? please tell me there is.

  6. yeahhh from teh recovery environment (Troubleshoot > Advanced options), try Uninstall Updates first if it was delivered through Windows Update, then System Restore if any point exists. Restore pionts are often created automatically before driver installs. good luck man!

  7. lol same thing happened to me boot to the recovery Command Prompt and list third-party drivers in the offline image:

    dism /image:C:\ /get-drivers

Find teh storage/RAID entry by its provider and date (oemXX.inf), then reomve it:

    dism /image:C:\ /remove-driver /driver:oemXX.inf

The drive letter can differ in WinRE, so check with dir C:\ or diskpart > list volume first. lmk how it goes

  8. ahh classic once youre back in Windows, check the event logs and teh vendors release notes. RAID/RST packages are often model-specific; the version for your board should come from the PC or mothebroard makers support page.

  9. ok so check BIOS SATA/NVMe mode. If the new driver installed for RAID/RST mode and teh BIOS is in AHCI (or vice versa), Windows can't find its boot disk. Don't flip modes randomly, but note what it's set to.

  10. been there man before any repair, back up: boot from a Linux live USB or attach teh drive to another PC and copy important files. Then experiment without fear. lmk how it goes

If it still fails, force Safe Mode from recovery: Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, then press 4. Safe Mode loads fewer drivers, so you may get in and can uninstall teh storage driver from Device Manager (tick Delete the driver software for this device). good luck man!
