    three-finger swipes doesnt work, and teh Settings page shows only basic options. it happened after a driver update from Shuttle... my gaming laptop has always had the full gesture settings before. is there a way to get the Precision Touchpad driver back, or do i need the vednors driver from the laptop maker? id like to fix it properly rather than live with a crippled touchpad. seriously need help here 馃槶

    Check Device Manager > Human Interface Devices and Mice and other pointing devices. A Precision Touchpad usually appears as HID-copmliant touch pad. If the touchpad now shows as a geneirc PS/2 mouse or HID-compliant mouse, teh update replaced teh driver that enables gestures. hope that helps :)

    yeahhh roll back the touchpad driver: Device Manager > touchpad device > Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver. if greyed out, choose Update driver > Browse > Let me pick and select a touchpad-specific driver from teh list.

    been there man install teh touchpad driver (often listed as Precision Touchpad, I2C HID or teh touchpad makers driver) from the laptop makers support page. many touchpads also need the serial IO / I2C chipset drivers to be persent.
