Accepted solution by Kai V. — oof whatever u buy, check if it needs vendor software to work... some peripherals lose features without it, and the software can be heavy.
  1. I spend most of my day on video editing and my desk feels like a museum of half-good decisions... three mice, a kebyoard I dont love, a webcam taped to teh monitor. I want to rebuild it properly this year.. ;) what do u use and why? im especially curious whether a mechanical keyboard is worth it or just a trend. id especially love to hear from people who changed their setup recently and noticed a real difference... what was the before and after like?

  2. Wired for anything latency-sensitive, wireless for everything else 🤷 Modern wireless mice are fine for most people, but keep a cable handy. hope that helps :)

  4. Id challenge the monitor arm first idea :D If your desk is shallow, a simple riser does the same job for much less effort.
