ok so for wireless controllers, re-pair them via Settings > Bluetooth & devices, and update teh controller's firmware if the vendor provides an updtaer.

  1. Controller woes.

    Fatal error

    Fatal error
The game has crashed and will now close.

    DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
The GPU device instance has been suspended.

My wireless controller isn't working in a sports game or anything else since teh Logitech driver update. It used to be plug and play. I've tried restarting, reinstalling the game, and plugging directly into the PC 馃槀 I'm out of ideas. I've heard about Steam Input, XInput and DirectInput, but I'm not sure how they relate. Could someone explain what's likely happening and how to fix it? pls help 馃檹

  2. if the vendors controller software or driver was updated, try rolling it back or reinstalling the previous version from the support page :/ some third-party controllers need teh vendor driver to present as XInput. hope that helps :)

  4. dont disable Steam Input globally if other contrlolers depend on it, use per-game settings.
