It wont wake up. This started right after the chipset package update from ASRock. I realy rely on sleep, since I move between home and office every day. Is there a log or report that shows what woke it up or why it failed? Ive heard of powercfg but never used it. Any help reading the output would be great, cuz I suspect Ill get a wall of text. pls help 馃檹

  2. ahh classic check Event Viewer > System for Kernel-Power and Power-Troubleshooter events. the latter logs teh wake source; the former logs unexpected restarts. lmk how it goes

  4. ahh classic install the chipset, Management Engine (if present) and serial IO drivers as a matching set from teh PC makers support page. mixing an updated chipset package with older related drivers is a common source of sleep issues.

  6. oh ive been there lol if it started exactly with the update, roll back teh specific device driver or use System Restore. also check for a BIOS update on the makers page, since sleep behavior is shared between firmware and drivers. good luck man!

  11. ehh disabling every wake-capable device fixes symptoms but can break things like waking with teh keyboard. Disable only the offenders.
