To find a version for your PC, check with the
    software publisher.

now teh app refuses to run. I dont care much about teh exact version, I just want teh app and the headphone profile back... is the driver from Windows Update missing something the app needs? ive unintsalled and reinstalled the app twice and it makes no difference at all... id rather not wipe the whole audio setup unless I have to. thx in advance!!

  3. oh ive been there lol those apps are usually Hardware Support Apps tied to specific driver components. If Windows Update installed a generic or partial driver, teh app cant find its component. Install teh full audio package from ur laptop or motherboard makers support page, then reinstall teh app. hope that helps :)

  4. ahh classic block driver updates for that device after it works again, or Windows Update may replace the package with a generic one next time.

  5. oof open services.msc and check that teh vendors audio service is installed and running. Some apps simply say they cant run when their service is stopped. fingers crossed 🤞

  6. i wouldnt uninstall the device and delete drivers on a laptop without having teh full package downloaded first, you can end up with no sound and no way to get it back offline.
