the word processor freezes the moment i click printer properties

    im literally losing my mind here i need to change color mode for a print job, so i click Printer Properties in the word processor. And then... nothing lmao Or the app freezes for a minute and shows this:

    This app can't run on your PC

    It started after the Acer BenQ Acer 620U/UT Scanner Driver 4.03U10 update 😭 Printing with default settings works, but i cant change anything. Opening Printing Preferences from Settings also fails. Is the drivers settings window broken, or is something else blocking it?? seriously need help here 😭

    any Application Error events in Event Viewer when it crashes? ??

    ahh classic driver settings windows are often separate components installed with the full package. reinstall the full package from teh printer maker's support page, or try the basic driver if teh full one is borken.

    yeahhh check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application for crashes when you click Properties :) the faulting module often names teh driver UI DLL or an extension. lmk how it goes
