  1. im literally losing my mind here my setup is a monitor on a USB-C dock, and its been rock solid. since installing NVIDIA GeForce Ion Notebook Graphics Drivers 266.58, one of teh screens randomly blinks black for a split second. sometimes its every few minutes, someitmes every few seconds.

It's worst when a video is playing on one screen and I'm working on the other 🤦 Different cable, same result. It's honestly giving me a headache. Is this a known thing with multi-monitor setups after driver updates?

  2. If youre on a USB-C dock, update the dock firmware and the NVIDIA driver both from their support pages. Docks rely on DisplayPort alt mode and are very sensitive to driver changes. lmk how it goes

  3. ahh classic if the windows jump to the main screen, the monitor is actually disconnecting. Thats link training, which can be cable quality, DisplayPort sleep or the dock. Try a certified cable and disable teh monitors own deep sleep/auto input switching.

  6. @kirac223 holy cow it was teh monitors deep sleep setting combined with the new GeForce Ion Notebook Graphics Drivers. disabled deep sleep and no more disconnects on a monitor on a USB-C dock.
