To find a version for your PC, check with the
    software publisher.

The only difference i can think of is that i have a bunch of extensions installed, including a VPN extension. But it has been installed for months without problems. Can an extension suddenly start breaking a site after an update? How do i find out which one wihtout uninstalling everything?

  2. hmmm if ure teh site owner: wrap third-party and optional scripts so a failure doesnt stop your main code, avoid relying on globals an extension might oevrwrite, and add a small note in ur help pages suggesting customers disable the extension for the site if they see problems. fingers crossed 🤞

  4. yeahhh open DevTools > Console and look for errors whose source starts with chrome-extension:// or moz-extension://. that ID matches one of your installed extensions, and you can see it on the extensions page with Developer mode turned on.

  5. oh ive been there lol do a bianry search: open ur extensions page (chrome://extensions, edge://extensions or about:addons), disable half, reload the site.. 😭 if it works, the culprit is in the disabled half; if not, its in the enabled half... repeat... even with twenty extensions youll find it in four or five rounds.

  6. hmm idk disabling per site is fine, but some of these extensions update constantly, id rpeort the issue to the extension developers too, otherwise itll happen again on teh next site. idk maybe im wrong lol

  8. @kokafor_30 omggg we renamed the blocked script on our side and customer complaints stopped completely... lesson learned: never name essenital files like ads.
