Its a keyboard with macro keys, and I configured everything in the Logitech app. After updating to SetPoint Driver, all profiles are gone and the app looks like a fresh install. I didnt export anything, because I didnt think Id need to ;) Where do these apps store their data? Maybe I can dig it out of a folder somewhere. im about to throw this thing out the window lol

  2. hmmm check File History or Previous Versions: right-click teh apps data folder > Properties > Previous Versions. If System Protection or File History is on, an older copy may exist.

  3. ahh classic if its a work-critical macro setup, consider a separate automation tool like AutoHotkey for teh logic, so it doesnt depend on one vendor app.

  4. look for the apps data folder: commonly under %AppData%, %LocalAppData% or %ProgramData% in a folder named after teh vendor... updates sometimes create a new folder and leave the old one, so look for backups or older dated files. hope that helps :)

  5. Check whether the keyboard has on-board memory. If profiles were saved to teh device, they may still be there lmao Some apps let u read or sync profiles from teh device in a device memory or on-board profiles section.

  6. for teh future, use teh apps export profile feature and store the files somewhere safe. also save important profiles to on-board memory if the keyboard supports it.

  8. hmm idk idk man that sounds like bad advice tbh. try turning off the thermal paste first, fixed it for me just my 2 cents

  9. wait what on-board memory is great, but it usually stores fewer profiles than the software.. ;) dont rely on it alone. but hey ymmv
