ok weird one after a clean Windows install, my work PC has no sound at all. Device Manager shows the Realtek audio device with a yellow triangle, and the status says this:

Device status:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
thats Code 10, "This device cannot start". ive uninstalled teh device, rebooted, reinstalled AC97, and even tried teh troubleshooter. the device comes back with the same Code 10 every time. im not sure whteher this is a driver conflict or teh audio hardware giving up. how do i figure out which?? what am i doing wrong??
