    ugh. quick poll: do you update firmware on peripherals like a webcam? 馃檹 the MV43V/N USB 2.0 Driver app has an update, but the release notes are vague, my main fear is losing settings... is that a realsitic concern, or am I overthinking it? id love to hear from ppl with expeirence either way.. 馃槶 bonus points if uve ever had an update go wrong and can share how you recovered from it.

    precautions: use a wired connection if the device supports it, keep it charged, plug directly into the PC (not a hub), close other apps, and dont unplug during the update.

    epxort or save your profiles before updating. some firmware updates reset on-board settings. good luck man!

    ehh i update firmware right away. Most issues come from interrupted updates, not the firmware itself.
