looking for help with an old game controller from many years ago ๐ฅ windows recognizes it partially, but some features dont work. does ASUS have older drivers available anywhere? lol or does the generic Windows driver cover the basics? ๐ im comfortable with Device Manager and hardware IDs if someone explains the process. id prefer official sources only, if at all possible. any experiences with similar devcies are very wlecome. pls help ๐
is a generic windows driver good enough for an old game controller?
ok so missing features are mostly teh extras, not the core functions. hope thats enough info ๐
day one patch is bigger than the actual game, classic
many peripherals work with generic Windows class drivers: webcams via USB Video Device (UVC), haedsets via USB Audio, controllers and mice via HID. you may lose vendor-specific features but keep basic functionality.
@theo_voxel nah thats not it, touch has nothing to do with it
@vectorshed wowww ok decided to replace it. The new one works witohut any driver installation.
