ok so check Device Manager with View > Show hidden devices 😭 if there are uknnown devices like SM Bus Controller or PCI Device, teh chipset package or related drivers fill those in.
everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof... have u checked ur windows settings? mine were reset after an update
hmm idk for newer platforms, skipping the chipset package can mean missing performance or power fixes. Id always install it. idk maybe im wrong lol
@regexrider Skipped it since Device Manager was clean. Will revisit if I notice anything odd.
why does the windows installer need ul80ag bios just to see my ssd?
