  1. startnig my first freelance gig and Im leaning towards plain HTML with a bit of JS. part of me thinks its teh sensible choice, part of me wonders if Im just picking what I know or what looks good on a CV 馃槫 id like to hear from ppl whove built something similar. what made you choose ur stack, and did it hold up once teh project grew or changed hands? stories from projects that lasetd longer than a few months are teh most useful to me.

  2. lol same thing happened to me start from the content, not teh framework. A mostly static marketing site rarely needs a client-side framework; plain HTML, a static generator or a sprinkle of JS keeps it fast and simple. Add a framework when you have real interactive state to manage.

  3. yeahhh for long-lived apps, the ecosystem and hiring pool matter more than elegance. will someone be able to maintain this in five years? 馃う choose something with stable releases, good docs and a community that isnt going anywhere. fingers crossed 馃

  6. ok so side projects are the place to experiment, use teh tool u're cruious about; the worst case is you learn why people don't use it for that. fingers crossed 馃
