    getting DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED in a survival crafting game, and now in a second game too, which makes me think its not a game problem.

The GPU device instance has been suspended.

    Timeline: installed GeForce Quadro Graphics Driver 310.40 for Solaris from NVIDIA, crashes started the same night... i tried rolling back but now Windows Update keeps reinstalling smth. Im starting to feel like Im fighting my own PC. Whats the proper way to test this? i have a spare eveinng and i am willing to try things methodically, one at a time.

    ahh classic DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED means the GPU sotpped responding and Windows reset it (TDR), sooo the game lost its D3D device... check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System for Event ID 4101 at the crash time. if u see it, it's a GPU/driver reset, not a game file problem.

    same issue here on my mac, following this thread. told my boss it would take 10 minutes. its been since tuesday
