ok so my approach: make a restore point, download teh previous driver package sooo its ready, then try the new one... if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall teh old one... that makes updating a low-risk experiment. lmk how it goes
guys pls help im on whatever Windows Update installed and everything works for everyday work. Now ASUS has ET2203 ATI Display Package Driver 8.632.0.0 out and the app keeps nagging me. Part of me wants the fixes, part of me remembers teh last time an update gave me black screens for a week. Has anyone been running it for a while? Any issues worth knowing before I click install? I would love a short, honest answer from ppl who have actually used it for a few weeks. what am i doing wrong??
the last bad experience was black screens after an update, fixed by going back to whatever Windows Update installed.
@ogrant WOWWW decided to wait two weeks, then updated with the previous package ready just in case. ET2203 ATI Display Package Driver 8.632.0.0 has been fine so far.
