  1. ok weird one so this is new. Artifacts in games, and only since updating Radeon Crimson Edition Graphics Driver 17.3.2 Hotfix from AMD.

    gpu artifacts

Ive already rebooted three times 😂 They dont show up on the BIOS screen as far as i can tell, only once Windows loads. Is that a meaningful clue? Im happy to run tests, i just need to know which ones make sense. i have not overclocked anything on purpose, but i did install a tuinng tool a while back. i want to rule out teh cheap explanations before i start pricing replacement cards. what am i doing wrong??

  2. ok so do a proper clean install of the previous dirver: download it from teh AMD support page, boot into Safe Mode, run DDU, reboot, then install. A plain rollback in Device Manager sometimes leaves the problematic profiles in place. hope that helps :)

  4. oof your BIOS observation is a good clue. If artifacts appear only after Windows loads the driver, but not in BIOS or in Safe Mode (which uses the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter), that leans towards driver/software. If they show up in BIOS too, think hardware.

  5. ok so reset any overclock or undervlot, especially memory clock... artifacts that look like small colored blokcs are often VRAM instabliity, and a driver update can change memory behavior enough to tip a marginal OC over. worked for me anyway 🤷
