tbh, if its crashing instead of just showing a 'site not found' page, u might have a configuration issue rather than just slow propagation... propagation usually just means the old IP is still sticking around for a bit. check if u have any conflicting cname records or if u accidentally pointed the a record to an internal ip or something lol. also, try checking your site via a tool like dnschecker.org to see what ips are actually resolving globally. if it shows the wrong ip everywhere, then yeah, u definitely messed up the settings somewhere in the dashboard. double check your record types too, sometimes people swap a=record for a cname by mistake and it breaks everything!!

  3. i get what @milann502 is saying about checking records, but i actually think it might be more about the nameservers than just a single record error. if the site is literally "crashing" (like a 500 error or a timeout) instead of just 404ing, the dns is likely resolving but the server isnt handling the request right... or u might be hitting a firewall because of the new ip!! i'd suggest checking if your new host is whitelisted yet. if the dns is pointing to a fresh ip, some hosts block incoming traffic by default until u confirm the setup. maybe check the server logs instead of just the dns records? could be a huge difference lol.

  4. been there man wowww i totally get the panic!! 😅 if u are getting a crash error id also check if ur ssl certificate is still valid for teh new ip... sometimes if the dns points to a new server but teh cert isnt set up right itll just break everything immediately. also check if u have any ipv6 records (aaaa records) still pointing to teh old stuff? sometimes those stay bheind and cause huge headaches lol. good luck with the launch!!

    lol
