Longer version: my latpop came with a manufacturer-customized graphics drvier. i wanetd teh newer one from AMD directly. Every installer i try says it's incompatible with my Windows. Is teh laptop maker locking this down, or is my Windows install broken? i would realy prefer not to reinstall Windows just to update one driver. If there is a way to check what teh installer is actually comparing, i would love to know it. any ideas??
