  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts my setup is a 4K screen next to a 1080p one, and its been rock solid, since isntalling AMD Mobility Catalyst Display Drivers 11.1 Vista/7 32-bit , one of the screens randomly blinks black for a split second. sometimes its every few minutes, sometimes every few seconds.

its worst when a video is playing on one screen and Im wroking on the other. different cable, same result. its honestly giving me a headache. is this a known thing with multi-monitor setups after driver updates? thx in advance!!

  2. oof start with refresh rates. Mixed refresh setups are sensitive to driver changes. In Settings > System > Display > Advanced display, set both screens to standard rates first (for example both at 60 Hz) and see if the flicker stops. Then raise them one at a time. worked for me anyway 🤷

oof turn off variable refresh (G-Sync/FreeSync/Adaptive Sync) on the secondary monitor and in the dirver control panel as a test. VRR on a desktop screen with video playing is a classic flicker trigger. lmk how it goes

  4. windows jumping screens points more at the cable or monitor sleep than the driver, in my experience. id test that before rolling back. but hey ymmv
