Quick poll for people using NVIDIA hardware for compettiive gaming: has ForceWare Beta Drivers 169.25 treated u well? :) Ive seen a couple of complaints online, but complaints are always louder than happy users. Id like to hear from ppl for whom it just works, too. Tell me what you use it for, how long you have had it installed, and whether you had to change anything to make it behave. Even a quick "works fine for me" helps when deciding.

hmmm driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, so i wouldn't stay on a very old version forever. But waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable. fingers crossed 馃

oof for late-night TV, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. if theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually teh better fit. hope that helps :)
@tensorhound-2wr updated with a restore point and teh old installer ready, no issues at all for competitvie gaming... good to have a plan instead of fear.
