sleep on my desktop is broken.

it restrats instead of resuming, this started right after teh chipset package update from ASRock... i really rely on sleep, since i move between home and office every day... is there a log or report that shows what woke it up or why it failed?? 馃槀 ive heard of powercfg but never used it... any help reading the output would be great, because i suspect Ill get a wall of text.
