this is sooo frustrating. im trying to update teh graphics driver on my laptop, and the official installer fails immediately:

"Not compatible with this version of Windows." Windows Update says i'm fully up to date. the MV42N VGA Driver for page supports Windows 98, Windows 95. is the installer checking something besides teh OS version?? i feel like i'm missing something obvious. i even tried downloading it on another computer and copying it over, just in case the file was corrupted. same error, same instant failure. i am honestly running out of ideas. seriously need help here 😭
