is there any reason to update quadro graphics driver 372.95 beta when the previous release works fine?

  1. quick poll for pepole using NVIDIA hardware for competitive gaming: has Quadro Graphics Driver 372.95 Beta treated you well?? ive seen a couple of complaints online, but complaints are always louder than happy users.. 馃槫 id like to hear from people for whom it just works, too... tell me what you use it for, how long u have had it installed, and whetehr you had to change anything to make it behave. even a quick "works fine for me" helps when deciding.

  4. been there man read teh release notes on the NVIDIA support page before anything else. They list fixed issues and known issues. If a known issue matches your setup, wait; if the fixes dont touch you, theres no rush. worked for me anyway 馃し

  5. lol same thing happened to me for programming, satbility matters more than the newest game optimizations. if theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually the better fit.

  8. been there man my approach: make a restore point, downolad the previous driver pacakge so its ready, then try the new one 馃槶 If anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one. That makes updating a low-risk experiment. worked for me anyway 馃し

  11. keep a short log of what driver you're on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum-drivers shows installed packages and dates), when something breaks later, youll know if the timing matches.

  12. driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, so i wouldnt stay on a very old version forever, but waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable.
