every game crashes with the same error... and it's not my gpu?!

    not gonna lie this is driving me nuts it doesnt matter which game, about fifteen minutes in, teh screen freezes and i get this:

    Fatal error: the game has crashed (DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED) what am i doing wrong??

    been there man do a clean driver install: download the current driver from your GPU vendor, boot to Safe Mode, run DDU, then install... also remove overlay/recording tools temporarily, they hook into the same rendering path. hope that helps :)

    Ah, I went through smth similar. @jpetrov how are teh PCIe power connectors cabled: separate cables or one cable with a pigtail? ??

    its a factory-OC model and Ive never touched the clocks. event Viewer shows a display driver reset at each crash time.
