not gonna lie this is driving me nuts strange one: on my desktop teh site is fine. On an old laptop someone lent me, every HTTPS site including mine shows this:
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from portal.example.org
(for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).
NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
So is my certificate broken or is the laptop broken? 馃槫 i genuinely cant tell anymore.
Happy to help with this one. @eeriksen-1wq does the warning appear on every device, or only on some? and on other HTTPS sites too? ??
only teh old laptop, and its every HTTPS site. the clock on it says a date years in the past.

lol same thing happened to me first confirm what the server is actually serving:
openssl s_client -connect example.com:443 -servername example.com </dev/null 2>/dev/null | openssl x509 -noout -dates -subject
