    ok so many GPU installers let u choose components in Custom install, and the HDMI/DisplayPort audio driver is one of them. Rerun the NVIDIA installer, cohose Custom, and make suree teh HD audio component is ticked.

    lol same thing happened to me open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right-click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices. A disabled HDMI endpoint wont appear in the modern Settings page. good luck man!

    ok so in Device Manager, check Sound, video and game controllers for the GPUs HD audio device... also try View > Show hidden devices... if its there but disabled, enable it... if its missing entirely, use Action > Scan for hardware changes. good luck man!

    on some setups the HDMI audio only appears when the monitor with speakers is teh active display at boot 😤 test with only the monitor with speakers connected once. lmk how it goes
