im on whatever Windows Update installed and everything works for 3D rendering. now AMD has Catalyst 12.1 Display Driver Preview 12.1 out and teh app keeps nagging me. part of me wants the fixes, part of me remembers the last time an update gave me black screens for a week. has anyone been running it for a while? any issues worth knowing before i click install? i would love a short, hnoest answer from people who have actually used it for a few weeks.

Driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, so I wouldnt stay on a very old version forever. But waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable.

@polarotter omg finally decided to wait two weeks, then updated with teh previous package ready just in case... catalyst 12.1 Display Driver Preview 12.1 has been fine so far. cant believe it was that simple lol
is there any reason to update jetway via vx900 vga driver when a driver from last year works fine? (pls help)
