  1. ok so every time Im in a flight sim, somewhere around about 20 minutes in, teh game freezes and closes with this:

    Fatal error

    Fatal error
The game has crashed and will now close.

    DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
The GPU device instance has been suspended.

The error text metnions DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. The graphics card is obviously still in teh PC. This only started after i installed ECS J10IL VGA Driver 0709. Ive verified game files, lowered settings and closed every overlay i could find :/ Still crashes. Is the driver the culprit, or did the update just expose a problem that was already there??

  2. ahh classic DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED means teh GPU stopped responding and Windows reset it (TDR), so the game lost its D3D device... check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System for Event ID 4101 at the crash time, if you see it, its a GPU/dirver reset, not a game file problem.

  3. oh ive been there lol remove any GPU overclock and memory overclock... device removed errors are very sensitive to VRAM instability... if u used a tuning tool, reset it to defaults and also check that no profile reapplies at startup.

  4. hmm idk id try one older driver before doing DDU. If teh older one is stable, youve proven its driver related in ten mniutes.
