    Im on whatever Windows Update installed and everything works for streaming. Now Dell has G5 15 SE AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 out and the app keeps nagging me. Part of me wants the fixes, part of me remembers the last time an update gave me black screens for a week. Has anyone been running it for a while? Any issues worth knowing before i click install? i would love a short, honest answer from ppl who have actually used it for a few weeks.

    yeahhh for a machine with 8 GB of RAM, staiblity matters more than the newest game optimizations. if there's a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, that's usually teh better fit. good luck man!

    oh ive been there lol my approach: make a restore point, download the pervious driver package so its ready, then try the new one. if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one... that makes updating a low-risk experiment.

    wait what i update on day one and have very few issues. Most problems people report are leftovers from upgrading over old installs, not the driver itself. idk maybe im wrong lol

    @erikr446 updated with a restore point and teh old installer ready... no issues at all for streaming... good to have a plan instead of fear. cant believe it was that simple lol
