dxgi_error_device_removed in an open-world rpg since asus a9800xt (windows 2000/xp)
dumb question but how do i even check the cache
been there man have u checked your gpu settings? mine were reset after an update
yeahhh DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED means the GPU sotpped responding and Windows reset it (TDR), so teh game lost its D3D device. check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System for Event ID 4101 at the crash time. if u see it, it's a GPU/driver reset, not a game file problem. fingers crossed 🤞
@cleo.reyes it was the performance preset. reset the ASUS app to defaults and kept A9800XT (Windows 2000/XP) . no crashes since, even during about 20 minutes in.

I DO MOSTLY WORK. WHICH BRANCH OF HD GRAPHICS DRIVER MAKES SENSE??
