Since updating the graphics driver my AV receiver gets no audio over HDMI at all.

I tried another HDMI cable, another port, and restarting the AV receiver. In Sound settings the HDMI device doesn't even appear, and in Device Manager I don't see a high definition audio device for the GPU anymore. It worked yesterday on the old Leaked AMD ATI Catalyst Hotfix. Help? I am starting to suspect the installer did smth odd, because nothing else changed. The AV receiver itself works fine with a game console on the next input.
