    keep a short log of what driver ure on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum-drivers shows installed pacakges and dates). When something breaks later, youll know if teh timing matches.

    yeahhh read the release notes on the NVIDIA support page before anything else... they list fixed issues and known issues, if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if teh fixes don't touch u, there's no rush.

    hmmm driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, sooo i wouldnt stay on a very old version foreevr. But waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable. good luck man!

    @viktora465 yesss updated with a restore point and teh old installer ready. No issues at all for video editing. Good to have a plan instead of fear. cant believe it was that simple lol
