    genuine questoin about update philosophy. my PC is stable on the driver my PC came with. the new GeForce Graphics Driver 310.61 Beta lists fixes that dont realy affect me. do u update anyway for security and compatibility, or do you only update when a game or app needs it? I mostly do competitive gaming. I am curious how other ppl handle this, especially anyone who depends on their PC for work and cannot afford a broken evening. pls help 🙏

    driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, so i wouldnt stay on a very old version forever. but watiing a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable. lmk how it goes

    keep a short log of what driver you're on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum-drivers shows installed packages and dates). When something breaks later, youll know if the timing matches.

    hmm idk i update on day one and have very few isuses. most problems people report are leftovers from upgrading over old installs, not teh driver itself. but hey ymmv

    at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol

    @kofi.rossi8 omg finally read teh known issues and one matched my setup exactly, sooo Im staying on the driver my PC came with for now. thanks for teh sanity check.
