longer version: my laptop came with a manufacturer-customized graphics driver... i wanted teh newer one from Intel directly, every installer i try says its incompatible with my Windows... is the laptop maker locking this down, or is my Windows install broken? i would relaly prefer not to reinstall Windows just to update one driver... if there is a way to check what the installer is actually comparing, i would love to know it.
