    help!! im on an old studio branch and everything works for everyday work, now AMD has Catalyst Radeon 5.8 (Windows XP/2000/Media Center) out and the app keeps nagging me... part of me wants the fixes, part of me remembers the last time an update gave me black screens for a week... has anyone been running it for a while? any issues worth knowing before I click install? I would love a short, honest answer from people who have actually used it for a few weeks. what am i doing wrong??

    for competitive gaming, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations. if theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually teh better fit. hope that helps :)

    oof driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, sooo i wouldnt stay on a very old version forever. But waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable. hope that helps :)

    @ottoj434 Decided to wait two weeks, then updated with teh previous package ready just in case. Catalyst Radeon 5.8 (Windows XP/2000/Media Center) has been fine sooo far. cant believe it was that simple lol

    rgb adds +10 fps everyone knows that
