NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 382.53 Turned My Screen Black Mid-Game. Is This A TDR?
make a backup before u touch teh thermal paste, learned that the hard way
oof since it started right after the update, roll back first. Device Manager > Display adapters > right-click your GPU > Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver. If the button is greyed out, download the previous package from the NVIDIA support page and install that instead.
lol same thing happened to me if rollback doesnt help, do a clean install: download the driver you want first, disconnect from the inetrnet so Windows Update doesnt push its own, boot into Safe Mode, run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), then install teh dwonloaded package 馃槀 Leftover profiles from older versions cause more of these than peolpe think.
lol same thing happened to me exact same thing happened to my desktop last month.. 馃槶 is gpu even worth bothering with or should i just leave it
@pia_lucky WOWWW clean install with DDU on the previous NVIDIA driver and the black screens are gone. two days of alt-tabbing out of a fullcsreen game and not a single 4101.. 馃槶 thank you!
