    genuine question about update philosophy. my PC is stable on an old studio branch. the new GeForce Quadro Graphics Driver 313.09 Beta for Solaris x86/x64 lists fixes that dont really affect me, do u update anyway for security and compatibility, or do u only update when a game or app needs it?? 😅 I mostly do video editing lmao I am curious how other ppl handle this, especially anyone who depends on their PC for work and cannot afford a broken evening.

    15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again

    been there man for movies, stability matters more than teh newest game optimiaztions. If theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually the better fit.

    ok so my approach: make a restore point, download teh previous driver pakcage sooo its ready, then try the new one. If anything misbehaevs, DDU and reinstall the old one. That makes updating a low-risk experiment.
