  1. guys pls help my setup is two monitros at different refresh rates, and its been rock solid... since installing VIA VX11 Display Driver 30.00.03, one of teh screens randomly blinks black for a split second... sometimes its every few minutes, sometimes every few seconds.

Its worst when a video is playing on one screen and Im working on the other. Different cable, same result. Its honestly giving me a headache. Is this a known thing with multi-monitor setups after driver updates? what am i doing wrong??

  2. yeahhh if the windows jump to the main screen, the monitor is actually disconnecting. That's link training, which can be cable quality, DisplayPort sleep or the dock. Try a ceritfied cable and disable the monitor's own deep sleep/auto input switching. good luck man!

  3. start with refresh rates... mixed refresh steups are sensitive to driver changes. in Settings > System > Display > Advanced display, set both screens to standard rates first (for example both at 60 Hz) and see if the flicker stops, then raise them one at a time. lmk how it goes

  4. been there man turn off variable refresh (G-Sync/FreeSync/Adaptive Sync) on teh secondary monitor and in the dirver control panel as a test. VRR on a desktop screen with video palying is a classic flicker trigger. fingers crossed 🤞

  5. windows jumping screens points more at teh cable or monitor sleep than the driver, in my experience. i'd test that before rolling back. just my 2 cents
