  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts something's off. a competitive shooter feels sluggish since the NGTS250-1GMU-F Display Driver update and teh FPS counter agrees with me.

  2. lol same thing happened to me check Power Options: a Windows update or driver instalelr can switch to Balanced or a battery saver profile. On laptops, also check teh manufacturers performance mode app. worked for me anyway 🤷

  4. hmmm first rule out teh obvious: on laptops, check that teh game actually uses the dedicated GPU. Settings > System > Display > Graphics, add the game's .exe, set it to High performance. Driver updates can reset per-app GPU preferences.

  7. Check that the driver install didnt reset your control panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V-Sync, frame caps) 🤷 A clean install resets everything to defaults, which can feel like a performance change.

  10. yeahhh after a driver update, games often rebuild their shader cache, which causes stutter for the first sessions. Give it a couple of runs, or clear teh driver shader cache manually in the control panel / %LocalAppData% cache folder and let it rebuild once.

  12. hmmm to measure properly, use a repeatable in-game benchmark or the same route, log frame times with a tool like PresentMon or CapFrameX, and compare average and 1% lows on both drivers... one run each isnt enough. fingers crossed 🤞

  13. if measurement confirms a regression, roll back with DDU to teh previous dirver, and report it to ECS with ur GPU, game and settings.

  14. @regex_fiddler holy cow the game had dropped back to the integrated GPU. set it to High performance and a competitive shooter runs better than before. wow. seriously made my day 😭🙏
