    i'm on teh driver my PC came with and everything works for competitive gaming :D now AMD has Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.3 Hotfix Update out and the app keeps nagging me. part of me wants the fixes, part of me remembers the last time an update gave me black srceens for a week. has anyone been runnnig it for a while? any issues worth knowing before i click install? i would love a short, honest answer from ppl who have actually used it for a few weeks. any ideas??

    read the release notes on the AMD support page before anything else... they list fixed issues and known isuses... if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if the fixes don't touch you, there's no rush.

    ahh classic my approach: make a restore point, download teh previous driver package sooo its ready, then try the new one. If anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall teh old one. That makes updating a low-risk experiment.

    wait what "If it works, dont touch it" is fine for a while, but eventually a game or app will require a newer driver and youll be jumping several versions at once, which is riskier. but hey ymmv

    at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol
