    ok so driver updates do sometimes include security fixes, so i wouldnt stay on a very old version forever... but waiting a week or two after release to see if a hotfix appears is perfectly reasonable.

    been there man my approach: make a restore point, download teh previous driver package sooo its ready, then try the new one... if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall teh old one. that makes updating a low-risk experiment.

    have u checked your catalyst settings? mine were reset after an update

    oh ive been there lol read the release notes on the vednor support page before anything else. they list fixed issues and known issues ;) if a known issue matches your setup, wait; if the fixes dont touch u, theres no rush.
