catalyst preview driver 10.4a: what changed for you, good or bad?

    quick poll for ppl using AMD hardware for streaming: has Catalyst Preview Driver 10.4a treated u well? I've seen a couple of complaints online, but complaints are always louder than happy users. I'd like to hear from peolpe for whom it just works, too. tell me what you use it for, how long you have had it installed, and whether you had to change anything to make it behave. even a quick "works fine for me" helps when deciding.

    ugh. spent 20 minutes on stability and im still not done. have u checked ur driver settings? mine were reset after an update

    yeahhh keep a short log of what driver youre on and when u changed it (pnputil /enum-drivers shows installed packages and dates). When something breaks later, youll know if teh timing matches.

    oh ive been there lol have u checked ur 10.4a settings?? mine were reset after an update, is stability even worth bothering with or should i just leave it

    oof for 3D rendering, stability matters more than the newest game optimizations 馃槶 if theres a separate stable/studio/recommended branch, thats usually the better fit. hope that helps :)
